Dave - I've tried that and the Backup option isn't included in the System
Tools menu. Worryingly,  I found this comment on an XP user site :

"In a somewhat controversial move, Microsoft has removed the Backup utility
from the default Windows XP Home Edition".

Mebbe after stripping my bank account to buy a new XP rig His Omnipotent
Greediness Gates wants me to purchase this previously bundled facility from
him as a separate item - well, he can go nail his liver to a conker tree.
Pirated copies will be accepted gratefully.

I bet Gates hates jazz, there is so little profit in it.
