[Dixielandjazz] How not to perform our National Anthem

As long as the anthem is performed well, I don't mind
it being jazzed up. But it better be perfect if the
artist decides to do that.

I liked Whitney's version at Superbowl Whatever but
all the RnB singers who have tried to sing the anthem
in that style since then have not pulled it off.

Lionel Ritchie's rendition of the anthem that he sang
after 9/11 particularly troubling. He sang it in 4/4. 
It seemed disjointed and slow.
