[Dixielandjazz] Tommy Loy Update

This is to let you listmates out there know that our good buddy, Tommy 
Loy, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the end of July after he 
returned from the trip to Scotland with Cell Block 7. 

He first thought he was having trouble recovering from the jet lag. Then
after a round in the hospital, found that he had cancer and it had
spread to his 
liver. After discussing treatment with the doctors, he declined to use 
the chemotherapy offered and instead went to Mexico and has
been following treatment suggested by the doctor there.
 
His last performance was September 24 and he was still playing well but 
it was very tiring to him.
 
I last saw him a week ago Friday and he was saying how amazed he is at 
how fast the cancer is taking over. Hospice began their visits last 
Monday. I talked with him yesterday and he continues to be his ol' 
positive self, though very realistic.

His computer crashed and until we can get it up and going again, he has
