Regarding Kid Ory and Mutt Carey at Beverly Cavern in 1959.
Mutt died in Sept 1948.  It was probably Teddy Buckner with Ory in 1959

Yeah, I had my doubts the other day that it was Mutt.  It certainly
wasn't Teddy, who I knew very well....spending the 3 nites a week I
wasn't playing myself listening to his band.
