this reminded me of a wonderful arrangement of "The Star Spangled Banner (For 
Average Singers)" done by a San Francisco musical humorist J. R. Brodey - everything 
is done within a 6 note span (with some sharps and flats) - if it gets too high the 
key is lowered, if it gets too low the key is raised.

So simple!
