Dear Friends,

The time to announce to the world of Bob Helm Fans regarding the above event
is drawing need. The date is still November 11th, 2002, Monday, Veterans
Day, at the Loyal order of Moose Lodge, 13233 San Pablo Ave., San Pablo, Ca.
and is scheduled from 4PM to 9PM. The hours may be extended or changed in
some small way, but for now will stand.

What I need from the assigned Band Leaders is to confirm your participation
in this event, and if that is a YES please give me the list of band members
who have indicated to you they WILL be in your band. This does not apply to
the Carl Lunsford E.McGoon's Jazz Band, as he has sent me his band member
listing which includes Carl, Phil Howe, Charlie Bornemann, Ray Skjelbred,
Jim Maihack, and myself.

Now I know I said that we should try to make up individual Bands with
duplication of musicians kept to a minimum. I may have to break my own rule,
so don't feel you have a problem if you need to do the same.

Please let me know of scheduling problems. I know Marty Eggers has a gig
that day and may not arrive at 4PM. I know that Ray Skjelbred is teaching at
his school that day and may not get to the event until 6PM. We will try to
work around most of these problems, just let me know ASAP regarding the
requests I have outlined above.Call me about any other problems.(415)
