There are quite a few in the Greater Bay Area, but not much
specifically within the city limits of San Francisco. Here are a few
good local websites that list many of the societies, festivals, clubs
and bands in the SF area:
(it always helps if those local societies, festivals, clubs and bands
keep sending updated information to the editors of these sites -
nothing more useless than outdated or incorrect publicity! )

www.jazzdance.org for a variety of things
www.nojcnc.org specifically for the New Orleans Jazz Club of Northern
California

and I just learned of this site last night: www.mcdance.com - they
have listings for all kinds of danceable music (not just OKOM) in the
East Bay Area.

This is not meant to lessen the importance of printed info (The South
Bay Beat and the NOJCNC newsletters for example are great sources of
info) but for first-timers looking to find OKOM in their own
neighborhood I think the web is quite useful as well!
