[Dixielandjazz] Sam Charters

Dear Brian--

Sam is a good friend of mine. We started playing jazz here in Sacramento in
1948 and he was the one who influenced me most. Sam and his wife Anne live
in Sweden part of the time each year, however they are home now at 12
Hillcrest Dr., Storrs CT 06268. Anne teaches at Univ. of CT and both have
recently donated their papers to the school's archives.

historian and writer Samuel B. Charters please. I did hear that he was
