Here for their first STJS Jazz Sunday appearance is the popular Midnight
Rose Jazz Band. Since its formation in the Spring of 1990, The MRJB has
made many appearances at our Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, as well as at many
other Northern California festivals. Led by trumpeter Dannie Balser-
Singinghawk, Their musical approach is perhaps best described as
eclectic, mainstream Dixieland with a sprinkling of swing and novelty.
They are recognized as much for their energy and hilarity as for their
entertaining musical interpretations.

Opening the day at noon on the Main Stage will be a fine Youth Jazz Band
aptly named TNT. This group of highschool aged youngsters is sponsored
by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society and directed by their
instructor, Dave Johnson.
