To the list:

    IMO, Jim Beebe is right.  This is the DIXIELAND
JAZZ mailing list.   Lord knows the N.Y. Times doesn't need this list to
further it's "cause" nor do the persons featured on its pages.
    We have the obligation and duty to police ourselves and we have no
moderator save Master Ringwald who rides a gentle herd.   I propose you set
up your own list through a "group" designation on your personal computer and
you and Barbone can exchange NYTimes articles there while leaving Beebe and
me to ponder and read
about DIXIELAND JAZZ.
