[Dixielandjazz] Audience Put Downs

This isn't a put-down, but happens to us all the time........

Lovely young thing comes up and says "ya'll play so well (or the equiv.
in Spanish).  Have you been together long?"  We answer with "yeah, 35
yrs.!"  Lovely young thing looks puzzled as she is trying to compare all
those years with her probably only 17 or 18 yrs of life, then wanders
off...........

Oh, well!  I must remember to say just "yeah, quite awhile.  Now, would
you like a drink?"
