To all guilty parties:

"At present Mailman, the program which we are now using for DJML, can not
limit posts to plain text only.  Thus it is very important that all members
make sure that they are sending only plain text to the List.
And, never send attachments of any kind to DJML."

I'd just like to add that some of the posts which appear to be
HTML are actually Rich Text. This tries to tell the mail system
what font to use etc. Whilst not as bad as HTML from a virus
point of view, not all mail readers support it. So to guarantee
everybody sees what you want, make sure it is "Plain" plain text
