[Dixielandjazz] Give jazz a chance

I concur.   I grew up when rock and roll was just emerging.  I didn't like
it then and I don't like it now.  I've heard "modern" jazz and it does
nothing for me.  I am not inclined to listen to something I don't like just
because it is performed by good musicians any more than I want to listen to
a loud car exhaust because the owner has bought a state of the art flow
through exhaust system.  It's still more noise than anything.  On the other
hand, I didn't listen to much classical music growing up and don't know a
lot about it but I like most of what I hear, especially Medieval and
Baroque, but very little of the modern.
