Folks--
    How many persons on this list play in a band, right now?  And how many persons are on this list?
    I also suspect that a great number of us are avid collectors of OKOM recordings, of various eras and styles, and that would be interesting to know

Addendum--
    I guess it would be small of me not to furnish the info about me that i requested of others, so here goes:
    Used to play tuba in Reno professionally (casinos, Reno city band, Reno 'Philharmonic' orchestra)(yeah, right: in other words, i would have starved if i had to live on what i made from those sources).  Have played tuba in polka-band (The Wurst Band) in Austin for 25 years (no pay, but free beer, only in summer), plus tons of brass-arrangements and playing tuba on a couple of CD's (Robert Earl Keen, Rory McLeod).  Currently i'm in a 'novice' dixieland rehearsal-only band (no gigs yet, praise the Saints!--we're terrible moving up to awful).  I collect tuba, brass quintet/ensemble, and OKOM recordings (the latter mainly West Coast revival-style like Turk, Assunto Dukes, etc.).
