Not to open a can of worms or a barage of negetive posts... but I wasn't
there and have no way of verifying any account about the origin of TAPS.
Often times history has several differeing opinions on what, when, and where,
and how something happened.
Certainly, I am not in a position to say any account is "phony". Not sure if
there is anyone who can say with any authority what is the "true story".
So in the interest in being politically correct, I resubmit the original
posts as....
"Attached is an account on the origination of TAPS. Take it or leave it and
please be aware that there are different opinions on this subject."
