[Dottie Lawless]

Sorry, Dave.  Phil Elwood was "relieved of duties" from the Chronicle several months ago,
leaving San Francisco with no jazz critic or reviewer of any kind.  He said he would be doing
special articles "occasionally", but I have seen nothing since his announcement in early
March.
