Will and others--
     Well, i allus knowd that Will was a man of taste and 
precipitation, but now i see even that estimation was short of the 
mark, as he has quoted Pogo.  I've been a Pogophile man 'n' boy since 
i was a young snapper in the mid-1950's, and i've been collecting 
Pogoiana (if there is such a word) since then.  I have over 20 Pogo 
books, a couple of Pogo figurines, "Songs of the Pogo", and my prize 
possession, Walt Kelly himself singing his own Songs of the Pogo 
(words by Walt Kelly, music by Norman Monath) on an LP from 1956 
(unfortunately, he didn't sing "Deck Us...").  The tie-in to OKOM is 
that Walt Kelly and Ward Kimball were great friends.
