I believe that Chuck Hedges plays a mouthpiece made by Vic Schul.

Vic Schul ( or Shul) was the Band Officer of the 3rd Marine Division Band when I was in it ( 1954-55). Vic had been a clarinetist in the Marine Band in Washington and then went into Corps as a Band Officer. He was a fine conductor and wonderful clarinetist. He used to play Artie Shaw's Concerto for Clarinet.

Vic has got to be up in years but I understand that he conducts a city band in Florida ( St. Petersburg) maybe and makes clarinet mouthpieces. I remember a few years back that Hedges told me he was playing mouthpiece that Vic made for him.
