When I was in the army in Germany in 1957 I went to the Liederhalle in
Stuttgart to hear Jack Teagarden and Earl Hines with Max Kaminsky and
Peanuts Hucko. Sat in the first row. One of my all-time great evenings of
listening to jazz. Max played cornet.

         As long as we are on this Cornet/Trumpet kick------I would almost
bet the farm on the fact that Maxie Kaminsky played a Cornet MAINLY, but was
rarely listed as such!
         Any of you REALLY old timers (like me) able to shed any light on
this??
