[Dixielandjazz] LA Area Jazz Meet 12/15/02

This Sunday (12/15/02) Jazz Forum meets 1 to 5 PM at the Elks Lodge, 1040 
Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA.  The feature this month is the Dan Barrett 
Quartet, with the wonderful brass player; Sir Carles Thompson on piano; 
Richard Simon on bass and Paul Kreibich on drums.  This is the Christmas 
party, so don't forget to bring an unwrapped toy or gift. 
 Other sets are for sit-in musicians.   Admission $8, members $6,  performing 
musicians free. There is a nice dance floor at the side of the room, The 
lovely lady Elks have good food available, and there is a full bar with
