[Dixielandjazz] More Jazz Resource material

Hi listmates,

There is another reference work regarding OKOM musicians and it is the KO 
Ecklund books "Jazz West 1945 to 1985" and "Jazz West 2" which is an sort of 
update to the first book but 10 years later (1995).

The books have many photographs and I would like to mention photographer Ed 
"Doc" Lawless as one of the major contributors. Doc passed away a couple of 
years ago but he left a legacy of wonderful photographs which has been and 
will continue to be a great source of information for all jazz historians!

As its name implies, you musicians back in the midwest and east aren't 
listed. Louis Armstrong isn't listed. But as a compendium of musicians who 
have been instrumental in the West Coast/San Francisco Jazz movement from 
the mid forties up to the present it's pretty valuable.
