I'm with you, Pat regarding Danny Boy.
Now to the nitty-gritty:  Since Tex Ritter has been mentioned how about
Rainbow At Midnight or Leon Payne's I Love You Because.  Can't remember who
recorded it but how about You're The Only Star In My Blue Heaven.
