This is not about music artistry, but drawing artistry. If any of you can think of some excuse to get Don Ingle to write you a letter, or in any way address a package to you, do so. I got a CD from him in the mail the other day (which I am enjoying, thanks Don), and am figuring out how to cut out and frame the front of the envelope. Don draws marvelous music figures. Mine has a man playing the trumpet, with the notes spilling into my name and address. It's great. I've been showing it off to local music friends. Say Don, we can always use original art for the cover of our jazz newsletter - would you like to draw a cover for Tailgate Ramblings sometime? Some New Year's thing for the January issue maybe? I knew this newsgroup was full of talent, but not such multifaceted talent.
